‘A Conversation with Randy Moss'

Share

Everyone knows Randy Moss is a future Pro Football Hall of Famer, but what people don't know about Moss is the small town where he made a name for himself. The 14-year NFL veteran grew up in Rand, West Virginia -- a  town that has 1,600 people living on less than a half-square mile. Rand is only five streets wide, and sits seven miles outside the city of Charleston -- the state's capitol.

Comcast SportsNet Bay Area 49ers Insider Matt Maiocco traveled to Moss' hometown to get a better understanding of what makes the wideout tick. Maiocco spoke with some of Moss' closest friends, checked out the house where Moss grew up, traveled to his former high school, and toured the small town of Rand.

Moss rarely speaks to the media, but Maiocco sits down with him to unveil some interesting stories about events that shaped one of the greatest Wide Receivers the NFL has ever seen.
